S5 Fundraising

We can’t believe we are onto Season 5 of the WISER podcast. We have been able to keep producing episodes thanks to generous donations that help us cover website fees, and podcast editing software (Descript).

Recently, we switched to a different podcasting software, which allows us to 1) record interviews and video, 2) edit out all our “ums” and “uhs” with a click, and 3) publish a more polished product with music – all from the same software! (Previously, we recorded on one program, then edited with another program, and then converted it to the podcast – all very tedious!). We would love to continue to use this software, as the feedback we have gotten from the student editors is that it saves time in their busy schedules and makes the whole production more seamless. We hope that you have seen the improvement in our editing from season to season from our awesome medical students, and can help us continue this trend, as this software subscription does charge a monthly fee.

For our fundraising this year, we are setting a goal of $1,000 in order to cover costs and keep WISER going!
